WEEKLY INTENSIVE COURSES (Study Holiday Formula)

OUR INTENSIVE COURSES:

All our Intensive Courses are aimed at adults (18+) or accompanied minors and provide intensive group or individual lessons (depending on enrolments), held throughout the year in all comforts and WI-FI equipped classrooms.

NUMBER OF LESSONS AND COURSE DURATION:

Courses start on Monday morning and include a package of 10 lessons a week (1 week minimum), of 50 minutes each one, and take place every day, from Monday to Friday, between 9:30 and 13:10, or from 14:30 to 16:10. Weekly time schedules are communicated on Monday of each week when classes are formed.

According to the length of your journey, School Versilia provides 4 possible Durations:

STARTING DATES:

Courses start every Monday of the year, regardless of the students’ level of knowledge. During non-working days, lessons won't take place, but they will be made up during the week (in the case of 2 holidays, only 1 of 2 will be made up). If Monday is a public holiday, the Entry Test and the beginning of lessons will take place on the first following working day (e.g. Tuesday).

EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES AND ACCOMMODATION:

Intensive Courses include the possibility to join the extra-curricular activities the School organizes, and the possibility to stay in a Hotel of the school.

ENTRY TEST (EVALUATION OF THE ENTRANCE LEVEL):

For new members, School Versilia provides a written Entry Test, in order to assess the actual knowledge of the language and the inclusion in the class of the correct level. Only students who already possess an Official Certificate of Italian Language Knowledge (or start from A0 level, Absolute Beginners), can skip the Test: in this case, they will be directly enrolled to the following level (or to the A0 Level classroom). Entry Test can be alternatively made On Line or in presence, depending on the Secretary Office needs.

TEACHING MATERIALS & FINAL CERTIFICATE OF PARTICIPATION:

Textbooks and study materials are provided directly by the school and are included in price. Notebooks, pencils, pens and stationery in general are not included (we warmly suggest students to come with all the equipment needed to take notes and assist to classes). At the end of the Course, a Certificate of Participation will be released, with the indication of the level reached and the accomplished hours.
