Il Frantoio di Sant’Agata d’Oneglia is located in the North West of Italy, on the west coast of Liguria –Riviera Ligure. This is where the unique Taggiasca olive trees grow.

Since 1827 the Mela family grows,  harvests and selects by hand the olives and produces high Quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO), PDO and Organic included . From the cold pressed Taggiasca small and tasty olives we obtain a light fruity EVOO, with a very low acidity, with a very delicate taste well known and appreciated all other the world thanks to its nutritional and organoleptic properties. The ideal condiment for a healthy diet.

Following the tradition Taggiasca Olives are also preserved in brine, pitted in EVOO and prepared to paste.

At the Frantoio we enjoy preparing a wide range of typical delicacies like:  Pesto following the original Ligurian receipt, sauces, patès, creams and a selection of vegetables preserved  in EVOO .
